Meet Loz & Kim
Hi, we’re Loz and Kim, the owners of Big Scottish Adventure.
Together, we bring over 20 years of combined experience across Scotland’s outdoor adventure industry, design and planning. Loz spent more than 14 years managing one of Scotland’s largest outdoor adventure companies, while Kim has worked in the outdoor industry for over four years and also brings valuable previous experience in design and planning.
For us, the outdoors is much more than a business—it is a genuine passion. We love exploring Scotland, climbing Munros and discovering new places together. Our adventures have also taken us further afield, including trips in Canada, where we have experienced different activities and approaches to outdoor tourism.
Before building his career in Scotland’s outdoor industry, Loz spent two years travelling around the world. New Zealand was a particular inspiration, showing how outdoor adventure can become an important part of a country’s identity and visitor experience. Its combination of spectacular landscapes, exciting activities and a strong adventure culture helped shape our belief in what Scotland’s outdoor industry could become.
We return from our travels with fresh ideas and inspiration, while always keeping Scotland’s landscapes, communities and character at the heart of what we do. Our ambition is to help more people discover the incredible outdoor experiences available here and to play a small part in Scotland becoming recognised as one of the world’s leading adventure destinations.
Our combined professional and personal experience gives us a strong understanding of what makes a great adventure—from selecting experienced activity providers and suitable locations to presenting clear information and helping customers choose the right experience.

We created Big Scottish Adventure to make discovering and booking outdoor experiences in Scotland easier. Whether you are looking for white-water rafting, canyoning, zip lining, quad biking or an unforgettable bungee jump, our aim is to help you find the right experience with confidence.
The activities featured on our website are delivered by established third-party outdoor activity providers. We use our industry knowledge, planning experience and customer-focused approach to bring together exciting experiences and make the booking process as straightforward as possible.

We help visitors compare experiences, restrictions and prices, then book directly with the named operator through FareHarbor. Big Scottish Adventure does not operate the activities or take customer payment.
Each provider is responsible for delivery, guides, equipment, safety decisions, availability, booking changes, cancellations and refunds.
