Last updated: 29 July 2026

Important: Big Scottish Adventure is a referral website. We do not take customer payments, hold booking funds, cancel reservations or issue refunds. Your booking and payment are made directly with the independent activity provider through FareHarbor.

The provider's terms control

Cancellation, refund, change, deposit, late-arrival, no-show and weather rules are set by the provider for the activity you select. The current terms shown in FareHarbor before payment and in your booking confirmation apply. Always read them before paying. If this summary differs from the provider's current checkout wording, the checkout wording governs, subject to applicable law.

How to cancel or request a change

Use the provider contact details and method in your FareHarbor confirmation. Include the booking reference, lead-booker name, activity and date. A request is effective when received by the provider. Big Scottish Adventure can help identify the correct provider but cannot action the request or approve its outcome.

Provider cancellations and weather

The provider decides whether an activity can operate safely. If the provider changes, postpones or cancels an activity, any alternative date, credit or refund is determined and processed by that provider under its terms and applicable law. Attend unless the provider contacts you.

Late arrival, no-show and eligibility

Provider terms normally restrict refunds where a participant arrives late, does not attend, does not meet a clearly disclosed age, weight, health or other requirement, is impaired, lacks required clothing or footwear, fails to complete a waiver, or refuses safety instructions.

Specific-date bookings

Leisure activities booked for a specific date or period are generally excluded from the normal 14-day distance-contract cancellation right. Any cancellation right is therefore the provider's contractual policy in addition to your statutory rights.

Insurance and statutory rights

Consider insurance covering illness, injury, transport disruption and other unforeseen events. Nothing on this page removes a statutory right or remedy. Cancellation terms must be fair and transparent under applicable consumer law.
